Dapper Notes makes 6 limited edition pocket notebooks, in collaboration with different artists, every year for his "Bookhead Club" subscription. This is October 2026's edition. I have a few available and when they're gone, they're gone!

In Dapper Note's words: 

Illousa Sajaklamo is an illustrator and designer based in West Sumatra, Indonesia. I've been enjoying their prolific and detailed gig posters and other fantastic illustrations for many years. Their work is all bold, psychedelic, hand-drawn dense linework, in palettes that are somehow both vibrant and muted, all filled with intricate imagery and all sorts of symbolism.

For our collaboration, Illousa brought their signature psychedelic vibes, meshed with a representation of their journey of self-discovery, to quote Illousa, "through the balance of logic and emotion, growth and imperfection. Every element represents a part of my identity, making this collaboration with Dapper Notes not only a creative partnership but also a personal expression of who I am."

The result is a world onto its own, with flying saucers, crowned heads, plant life, color streams, and so much more. The detail is astounding, and the design overall exudes wonder and hope.
